I’m Katy Cusick, owner and lead artist of Team KMC LLC, based in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Thank you for taking the time to visit my website!

For more than 14 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping women look and feel their absolute best through professional hair and makeup artistry. What began as a passion has grown into a career that has taken me across the country, working with incredible clients on weddings, commercial productions, television, advertising campaigns, editorial photoshoots, and prestigious pageant organizations.

While I love every aspect of this industry, my greatest passion is leading my talented team on large-scale events. From destination weddings and luxury bridal experiences to commercial productions and live television, I thrive behind the scenes—creating polished, seamless experiences that allow every client to feel confident, cared for, and camera-ready.

My love for beauty began through pageantry, where I discovered firsthand the confidence that professional hair and makeup can inspire. In 2014, after years of dedication and hard work, I was honored to earn the title of Miss Kentucky United States. I proudly represented the Commonwealth throughout the year before placing Third Runner-Up at the Miss United States Pageant and receiving the Miss Congeniality Awar, an achievement that remains especially meaningful to me.

Since opening my business in 2012, I’ve been fortunate to work with an incredible variety of clients and organizations. My experience includes national advertising campaigns, commercial productions, television appearances, editorial photoshoots, luxury weddings, and state and national pageants. Team KMC has also had the privilege of working with organizations including Churchill Downs, Fruit of the Loom, Miss Kentucky, Miss USA, Miss America, and numerous television personalities from networks such as NBC, CNN, and FOX.

Although our work has taken us all over the country, we remain deeply rooted in Kentucky and love serving our local community just as much as our destination clients.

When I’m not working, I’m spending time with my husband and our son, who has brought more joy to our lives than we ever imagined. As a family, we love traveling together, exploring new places, and making memories whenever we have the opportunity. That love of travel is one of the reasons destination weddings and pageants hold such a special place in my heart.
